Communication is the most important thing in any company. We believe that a group of people that communicates effectively can always build a successful business.

When a janyl agent joins your company, it will communicate with you over the channels you use already. This can be WhatsApp, Slack, Teams, Telegram, Discord, or any platform where work happens. It can also be through ZenDesk, Jira, and other surfaces where your team exchanges knowledge, ideas, and of course, jokes and memes.

Our agents write all their own integration code. Meaning that they never use an off-the-shelf service like Zapier, Make, or n8n. This is done for several reasons. It allows for the correct security and data posture to be determined and then written by the agent into the heart of its integration. For example, on its first day, an agent may learn which channels are private and will make sure no information from those channels leaks into other ones when it writes its own responses.

janyl agents use open source SDKs and context7 to write and test their integrations in a matter of minutes. After this is done, the majority of work with janyl happens outside of these communication platforms. That is because meaningful work, from synthesizing documents to making plans to crafting presentations, can only be done in dedicated UIs for these tasks. Chat is cumbersome and leads to what we call “agent rot” - long texts in group chats that people learn to tune out.

So, once integrated, you can expect your janyl agent to send you links where work will continue for the task at hand. This keeps communication channels light, information-rich, and fun. As they should be.
